July 2010 Ad Challenge @ DSO

All the designers at DSO run a monthly scrap challenge of some kind.  The first one that popped into my head was an ad challenge.

I have always LOVED ad challenges! When I flip through a magazine, the first thing that tends to catch my attention is the page layout itself. I have often found inspiration for scrapbook layouts, website design, portfolio style, etc. from random advertisement and article page layouts.

So I was very excited that no one at DSO was already doing an ad challenge! woo hoo! 

RULES
Take a look at the ad I select and create a scrapbook page that is similar in layout or style to the ad. However it inspires you… run with it.

BONUS
To get the bonus, you’ll have to leave a comment at DSO on THIS POST before July 31st, 2010 and post your layout in the DSO gallery including a LINK to your DSO gallery posting so I can see your beautiful layout!
