NEW!! Here Comes the Sun Digital Scrapbook MEGA Kit!
I’m SOOOOO EXCITED about this collection! I started planning this one out about 5 weeks ago and it’s finally ready for release today!
I have been missing the sun something fierce lately. I don’t seem to be a winter person AT ALL… and every Chicago winter just gets worse and worse for me. This year’s blizzard didn’t help much either. :( So to help cheer me up and get me out of the winter blues, I picked a bright colorful palette and made myself a little ?sunshine ?! :)
First, as I promised last week… a little peek into my design process… this was the first time I inked my doodles in Illustrator and didn’t run the autotrace. I’m thrilled with how they turned out. Here’s a little before & after…
As I worked through the design on this one, I had so many notes and ideas that this quickly became a monster!! There are 22 backgrounds, 101 elements (62 are unique), 5 alphas and 16 wordart pieces! You can purchase the pieces individually or snag the entire collection in a 40% off reduced bundle.
All products in this collection are 20% OFF through Wed March 30th!

LOL! Okay, firstly I have to chuckle at the anti-spam quiz! I actually had to stop for a moment and “think”! LOL!
Jen, *Here Comes the Sun* is FANTABULOUS! I was so intrigued when reading about your design process and I have seen the trend of designers using Illustrator and think, “wow, that would be SO cool”, but just getting back into Photoshop on a semi-regular basis, delving into Illustrator would probably hold me hostage for a very long time! He, he … thus, no new product! 🙂
Your talent proves my theory that it is okay to mix styles and come out with something a wee bit different than anyone else that presents beautifully. Love, love, LOVE your work!
Being from, not so sunny, California, we are still waiting for spring to officially arrive with a spotting of the sun after all of this mid-west type weather we’ve been having the past few years! Hopefully that will occur sometime in the next few days!
CHEERS for a “shining’ new addition to your already spectacular collection of digital scrapping goodness and wishing you a GLORIOUS weekend full of sunbeams!
Oh wow Linda! Thank you so much!! You are so sweet! When I first was web designing back in 1996-7, it took me 4 good tries over a period of 2 years to actually start using Photoshop full-time. Up until that I was a die-hard paint shop pro user. LOL! After the 4th attempt, PS stuck with me. Ironically the same thing has basically happened with illustrator. I have used it on and off to do very simple things over the past few years but I could just not get the hang of how illustrator uses layers so differently than PS. But for some reason THIS time… it just worked well for me. I do not know. I can’t explain it. Now… I am most certainly NOT an illustrator expert by any means. I’m still a baby illustrator user. LOL! But now I’m not so afraid of it… lol! and maybe… it’ll become 2nd nature to me like photoshop. 🙂 Thanks again for your wonderful compliments on my new collection! You just made my weekend!!! Have a good one!
Thank you so much for the lovely desktop, I have it set it up on my PC and I love love looking at it 🙂 Your mega kit looks soooo happy with all the bright sunshine it brings 🙂
